"ONE HAND CLAPPING" TENDRÁ SU LANZAMIENTO OFICIAL

One Hand Clapping, el film de Paul McCartney & Wings, finalmente tendrá su lanzamiento oficial en el año de su aniversario de oro. De acuerdo al sitio The Glass Onion Beatles Journal, el documental saldrá a la venta a partir del próximo 14 de junio.

La película que fue dirigida por David Litchfield, en agosto de 1974 en los estudios Abbey Road, permaneció inédita hasta 2010, cuando la incluyeron en el Archive Collection de Band On The Run, el primero de la serie que por el momento está discontinuada.

En pleno suceso de Band On The Run, Paul rearmó Wings a través de las incorporaciones del guitarrista Jimmy McCulloch y el baterista Geoff Britton, quienes hicieron su debut en las sesiones de grabación en Nashville, donde se registraron Junior's Farm y Sally G. El documental es una suerte de ensayo abierto con temas de Wings y un puñado de la época beatle. Además, aparecen el arreglista orquestal Del Newman y el saxofonista Howie Casey, viejo amigo de Paul de los primeros días en Hamburgo.

One Hand Clapping se lanzará en diferentes formatos que incluyen un set exclusivo de dos vinilos más otro de 7", con la interpretación acústica de Paul en el patio trasero de Abbey Road, en el último día de las sesiones en Abbey Road. El inédito Blackpool, Blackbird, Country Dreamer, Twenty Flight Rock, Peggy Sue y I'm Gonna Love You Too.
